I am proud to be part of this great hospital and my skills were fine tuned during my fellowship in shoulder & knee arthroscopy. My sincere thanks to Dr K N S sir for sharing his skills and knowledge. Entire team at vale hospital doing their best to treat to that patient and guiding them for their well being even after discharge.

Fellowship training under Dr KNS is one of the best training exposure to arthroscopy in India. The more you learn and the more committed you are to the fellowship, KNS sir teaches even more eagerly to satisfy our hunger to learn. One of the very few centres in India where dedicated training is given for shoulder arthroscopy. Ever grateful to KNS sir for giving this wonderful training opportunity.

My fellowship under Dr. KNS Sir provided exceptional hands-on training, not only in managing complex sports injuries but also in arthroplasty. Under his expert guidance, I gained extensive experience in arthroscopic procedures, ligament reconstructions, and cartilage restoration. The opportunity to work with him was invaluable and treasure I will cherish for a lifetime. This experience has significantly enhanced my surgical skills and clinical decision-making. Overall, this fellowship has prepared me to confidently manage sports-related injuries and advance in my career as a skilled orthopedic surgeon.

My fellowship at Vale Hospital under Dr KNS Subramanian sir was an exceptional learning experience. Having observed arthroscopic practices at several centres I can confidently say that the clarity, precession and simplicity with which KNS Sir performs arthroscopic surgery is truly remarkable. His techniques are clean systematic and very easy to understand for trainees.
What makes this fellowship stand out is the genuine hands-on training. Fellows are actually involved in surgeries and guided step by step which bill both confidence and surgical competence. In particular exposure to shoulder arthroscopy is outstanding, an area where structured hands on training is still limited in many programs across India. I am deeply grateful to KNS Sir and the Vale team for providing such an excellent training environment.

The period of fellowship was enlightening into the various aspect of arthroscopy and its capabilities. I learnt the intricacies of performing surgery. It was also a learning yo see what pitfalls one can face and how to overcome it. The twinning fellowship with in UK acted as a much needed boost to gain confidence and perform surgeries independently.

It has been a systematic step by step learning and I have done independently done many arthroscopic procedures. The fellowship gives plenty of hands on experience and the Cardiff exposure was excellent.

My experience with Dr. K. N. Subramaniam was extremely good. He taught me intricate aspect of managing sports injuries of shoulder and me and made me to do the surgeries independently. Overall experience was awesome.

I am blessed to be a trainee of Dr. K. N. Subramanian. The work experience was immense in terms of both quantity and quality. I have been to UK for 3 months where there is immense exposure of shoulder scopy and arthroplasty along with complex trama. Finally arthroscopy mission in my professional career got accomplished.

This twin fellowship was a comprehensive experience that provided excellent exposure to different cases in arthroscopy and sports medicine. Dr. K . N. Subramanian show enormously patient in teaching me from basics of arthroscopy to advance techniques. International fellowship at UK was dream come true with exposure and had close working relationship with best renowned shoulder and knee surgeons. I learned a lot in arthroscopy shoulder and knee surgery. It was a wonderful learning experience in Cardiff. The fellowship is designed in such a way that there is clear target achievements month to month and finally getting experience from UK also. It is a turning point in my career. He has also guided me to start my arthroscopy practice at my hometown. I believe that this fellowship has not only taught arthroscopy but also his given self confidence and new profile for doing hard work and getting right attitude.

The arthroscopy fellowship program has been an invaluable experience. The experience helped broaden my knowledge and skill. There was a good hands on experience. I will always cherish the working relationship and personal friendship which was developed through this program with Course Director Dr. K. N. Subramanian sir.

Working as a fellow under the guidance of Dr. K. N. Subramanian was a wonderful experience. He is a role model to me in a lot of aspects. Apart from being an excellent surgeon he is a very friendly guide and a great teacher. A truly admirable personality, someone whom I would always look up to with greatest regards and respect.

Everyone says dreams come true, so is my arthroscopy dream; it came true for me through Dr. K. N. S sir; for which I am very fortunate. I admire him for his knowledge and interest in arthroscopy and sharing the same with his students. The arthroscopy fellowship was one of the best experience in my life. I did get to learn lot many things apart from orthopedics during my tenure. Dr. K. N. I did my short term fellowship under Dr. K. N. Subramanyam in month of Feb 2018. It’s the best centre to learn arthroscopy. Lots of hands on. Both shoulder and me… Lots of academic teaching. Also I got chance to learn pearls of arthroplasties. Is the perfect mentor for a young aspiring arthroscopic surgeon.

I did my long term fellowship under Dr K N Subramanian sir. I am gifted to have got the opportunity to work under and be trained by such a skillful arthroscopic surgeon. A man of simplicity, efficiency and sincerity. He is a great teacher for all budding arthroscopic surgeon with high aspirations. Apart from all this. I respect his Stamina to do surgeries after travel in far off places.

I worked as a fellow in Knee Arthroscopy for 6 months under mentorship of KNS sir. The overall experience was good. I am sincerely thankful to him for considering me for this fellowship.

Apart from arthroscopy, there is much to learn about orthopaedics and personal life from him. A visionary mentor, who understands what a trainee is lacking and helps you to acquire those skill sets. Though many doctors are waiting for the slot, I cant stop thanking Dr KNS sir for the opportunity he gave me as Fellow. The fantastic part of fellowship is the good case load, the fellows can experience day by day improvement in hands on arthroscopic skills. KNS sir is Down to Earth person teaches both surgical skills, spirituality and life. Within 6 months of hands on programme he trained me as a confident Arthroscopic Surgeon. My fellowship under Prof. Dr. K. N. S. sir in arthroscopy was a transformative experience for me, where I had the privilege of learning from scratch under his expert mentorship. Completing my fellowship under the guidance of Dr. K.N. Subramanian has been a transformative milestone in my surgical career. KNS Sir provides intensive hands-on training with a level of mentorship that is rare to find. I had the privilege of undergoing the two-week Arthroscopy Fellowship under Dr. K. N. Subramaniam sir through TNOA. The program was extremely enriching and well structured. I was able to observe and learn key arthroscopic techniques, surgical decision-making, and patient management strategies in a practical clinical setting.

I attended the overseas fellowship with Dr. Angus Robertson in September 2024 for 6 weeks, Mr. Robertson is an enthusiastic teacher and took special care of me during the entire duration. He introduced me to the other faculty in the hospital who were equally welcoming. The fellowship widened my prospective not just about surgical techniques but also hospital protocols followed in the UK. Having the opportunity to go to the OT daily and scrub, helped me see some uncommon cases such as Multiligamentous knee, revision ACL-R with ALL, biceps tendon repairs, etc. Being free on the weekends also gave me the opportunity to explore Wales and UK as well. It was a very satisfying and all rounded experience with ample learning opportunities. I am extremely thankful to DR. Subramanian and Mr. Robertson for the same.

I am extremely honored and deeply indebted to Dr KNS Sir for giving me an opportunity to be a visiting fellow to Dr Angus Robertson in Cardiff, United Kingdom through the 6 weeks UK fellowship programme during November to December 2024. I found Dr Angus a highly skilled surgeon and got to learn his ways of approaching shoulder and knee surgeries. He was very approachable and friendly as well. I got to see a good number of shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgeries during my 6 week attachment in Cardiff. The time flew by really fast! This period has been life changing for me and has an upgrade in my career. I thank everyone who was involved in facilitating this fellowship for me.

I has the privilege of attending the overseas fellowship with Mr Angus Robertson at Cardiff in Jan-Feb 2025 for a period of 6 weeks. Mr Robertson is an extremely skillful surgeon, has an dynamic personality and is always keen and enthusiastic to discuss cases and teach. He is very hospitable and took extra effort to ensure my stay at Cardiff was both productive and enjoyable. He introduced me to the rest of the faculty at the hospital who were equally welcoming. The experience I gained during this fellowship has broadened my perspective not just about arthroscopic surgical techniques but also about the basic approach to patient care in sport injuries. Having the opportunity to got to the OT daily and scrub, helped me see some uncommon cases such as Multiligamentous knee, revision ACL-R with ALL, biceps tendons repairs, PLC injury and a heavy load of shoulder arthroscopy cases. Mr Robertson would always encourage me to spend my weekends exploring Wales and other parts of England which was a splendid experience. It was a very satisfying and all rounded experience with ample learning opportunities. I am extremely thankful to Dr K N Subramanian Sir, his entire team and Mr Robertson for this wonderful opportunity. I look forward to incorporate the skills and principles I picked up during my fellowship in to my practice.

I am really fortunate to have selected for one of the most coveted UK visiting fellowship through Dr. K. N. Subramaniam in collaboration with Dr. Angus Robertson of Cardiff University. I had experience of assisting various complex shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgeries. The hospital has more than 30 orthopaedic surgeons and hence also had chances to assist primary and revision arthroplasty cases. It was an immense learning experience. When doing this visiting fellowship I also applied and got selected for paid fellowship in London.

3 weeks of clinical observership as Ekalavya was the excellent training platform I had. Respected Dr K.N.S sir is a gem of a person with whom you can feel free to clear all our doubts & learn tips and tricks of knee & shoulder arthroscopy. Not only arthroscopy, he also inculcate the interest of arthroplasty in me. One of the best teacher and serene person I came across.

Got the opportunity to work with Dr. K. N. S in 2018. Working with him has been one of the loveliest experiences of my life. Sir is always keen to teach, clear the doubts and there is a large number of shoulder and knee arthroscopy cases. Ample scope to enhance your academic acumen and workskills. And city of Madurai boasts for its own charming nature and experience. This fellowship is one of the best arthroscopic fellowships for any orthopaedic surgeon.

I have learnt a nuances of basic to advanced arthroscopic techniques. Got taught in various lens about diagnosing and treating patients by arthroscopy and to follow systematically. He is a great teacher and motivator. I thank him for the confidence he insisted in me.

UK fellowship program was a great experience for me. I got chance to see variety of surgeries in arthroscopic arthroplasty and other open surgeries for various joints. The surgeons wear in many numbers, so it was like revising your topic by seeing it many times in a day and in a week. Moderator Mr. Angus Robertson is gem of a person and very keen to teach and explain the surgery in step wise to his fellows.

Got opportunity to go to Korea for short term fellowship. I had seen number of cases in shoulder and elbow. It has boost at my confidence in doing my case is now. Dawood exposure is good I have little reservation as I was sent outside OT in some occasions though the reason was not very clear.

Short term fellowship with Dr. K. N Subramanian was good learning experience involving both knowledge and practical points behind the practice of sports medicine and arthroscopy in outpatient as well as operation theatre. She always teachers and being good human which we may miss in other places.

I was very happy to see such wide spectrum of cases both in arthroscopy as well as arthroplasty of good number during a short tenure of 4 weeks and very thankful to Dr.KNS sir for teaching all the tips and tricks.
